Volvo took the wraps off its all-new XC60 crossover last month, and the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. People love the clean, modern styling of the car, as well as the simple and luxurious dashboard that features a large, Sensus-equipped touchscreen front and center. All of those things matter, of course- but, at its core, the new Volvo XC60 is about something else: safety.
Back in 2010, the original Volvo XC60 was one of the first vehicles to get safety tested in a small offset crash scenario by the IIHS. It helped to set the bar for offset crash safety- and Volvo hopes to set the bar even higher with the new XC60.
