4×4 Volvo 245 vs. the Zombie Apocalypse
Guys, I’ve found it, the safest way to navigate the apocalypse. Meet the custom-built Startjeep TL12 Volvo 245, as built by Jonas Pettersson.
This singularly customized Volvo 245 wagon surfaced on Sweden’s Blocket site a few days ago. As you can see, it combines the stout construction and practical cargo-carrying capacity of the classic Volvo 240 wagon with the off-road agility of a Jeep Wrangler. The military-inspired olive drab paint also adds to the “capable” vibe.
But wait- there’s more! If you’re a fan of Jonas’ Swedish rock-crawler, you have chance to actually buy the thing! That Blocket site I mentioned seems to be something like a Swedish Craigslist, filled with classified ads for just about everything. I’ve included Pettersson’s own description of the wagon (according to Google’s translator, anyway), below, and invite you to click here to see the original ad.
An image says more than a thousand words!
