The 80’s were an incredible thing to live through. And, if you were there, I think you’ll agree that there’s just a bit of that decade’s frantic, buzzing neon energy to be found in this incredible watercolor artwork from the official 1986 Volvo 240 accessory catalog.
That’s right, kids– watercolor paintings managed to find their way into an OEM catalog. What’s more, I’m pretty sure this isn’t the only time it’s happened (but I can’t back that up, my head is just filled with half-memories of the various car shows and convention centers I was dragged through as a kid).
Regardless, I find it wild that this kind of thing happened at all, and I’d love to see more old-school graphic artists like this get work in the future. What about you guy?
